Please be reminded that The official opening for the international day starts at 10:00 tomorrow morning. The Grade 2's will perform at 11:40, we expect all students to gather at our stall (Botswana) by 11:00 in preparation for the performance.
Students have all received their shirts and skirts, please ensure that they are wearing them tomorrow for the performance. Boys will wear black short/long pants with their shirts. Girls wear plain white vest/t-shirts with their shirts. They are welcome to bring a change of clothes to wear thereafter.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, be prepared to be blown away by the grade 2 performance!
This week started off with students tunning into our new unit Where we are in place and time. The central idea is Innovations and inventions change the way we communicate.
Tuning In - Nonverbal morning- till the first break.
Students had fun during the non-verbal morning. They were given task cards to read and follow

ICT: Students were introduced to Sphero's this week by Mr. D, this is a more advanced time of coding (robotics) students will continue to work with the Sphero mini for the next few weeks.
Homework for next week:
1. Parents have homework too. Draw a timeline of how technology has evolved from your birth till present, your child will present/ share your timeline.
2. Students need to get an envelope, postcard, local and international stamps and bring to school.
3. If you have any old devices e.g typewriters, walkmen, old landline/ mobile phone at home please borrow them to us to build a class Mesum of these items.
4. Students can do research, find pictures, and information on how people long ago used to communicate as well as the different forms of communication for sharing.
