Home work for the 11-14th September

Dear Parents,

This year Grade 2 will represent Botswana for International day the 10th of November.

Homework:

1. UOI

  •  Gain information about Botswana and share this with the class.
  • Draw up a weekly schedule or journal of how you spend your time after school. Start at the end of your school day until bedtime add things like what you eat for meals, what activities you do.
  •  Go grocery shopping with your families, students will need to identify and pick food from the different food groups.
  • Start thinking about what kind of wellness expert you would like to be, then gather information. You can present in any style of your choice in class. 
2. Math

  •  Listen to brainpop.jr video's to improve on number sense ( to be shown in class) 

brainpop (login - windhoek; password - brainpop)
  •  log in and select place value, Even and odd, Patterns video's to listen.
  • Go on to Mathletics and do live Math( Students will be shown in class)
3. Literacy

  • Spelling city
  • Word creation ( letters this week i,g,s,w,n)
  • Find out information about Botswana ( International Day country)

PORTRAIT POP-UP EXHIBITION

Whole Primary School in the Art Room




Dear Parents - This is our first of several

Pop-Up 2018-2019

@ Drop-off Time Art Exhibition in the Primary Art room.




All students have created a portrait of themselves at this point in their school life. It is interesting to see the development of art at this stage from EY1 through to Grade 5 with the unit Who We Are.




Please pop-in at drop off time on Friday 14th September from 7.00am - 7.45am followed by Assembly, if you wish to attend. The Portrait Exhibition will run til Friday 21st September.

You are welcome to come each morning, except Wednesday 5th September (as we have a class first period) , to view this.

VENUE: PRIMARY ART ROOM (Room 41)

DATES: 14th - 21st September 2018

TIME: 7.00am - 8.00am (except Wednesday 19th September)
