This week for Literacy students learned the use of "a, an" and the" in sentences. They had to know the English rules to this. Ask them to explain what they learned. Students had to apply this knowledge when writing their story with food as a superhero. During writing, they had to apply punctuation marks and adjectives, using the 5 w's when, where, what, why and who to stretch out sentences. Students used a student-friendly writing rubric to self -edit and reflect on their writing.
Students worked in groups to create scenes from our class reader Charlotte's Web. They created 3D characters and the setting. They recorded this work on Seesaw, for your viewing.
