Welcome back

My name is Ms. Debbie I am so excited to be part of the grade 2 team, more importantly, I am THRILLED to be your child's teacher!!! Ms. Sinead is our Educational Assistant, she is from Namibia. Some of her hobbies are playing with her cat, watching the sunset and reading. We are looking forward to working with you and getting to know your child and helping them succeed in reaching their personal best outcomes.

It's going to be a fun year full of learning and adventures.

For my upcoming students, I hope you had a fabulous break, I can’t wait to hear all about it and get to know you!

This is our preliminary timetable of specialist lessons below:

Things to remember:

Items specified on the stationary and Equipment list.

Please remember a large wide-brimmed hat and water bottle for break times.

Students in grade 2 are not allowed to go to the tuckshop. Please pack a healthy lunch box with things like fruit, water, sandwiches, crackers cheese etc.

Students get two breaks a day.

 

A few exercise books will be sent home on Friday which you will need to cover with plastic (available from CNA/Waltons/many supermarkets). Books should be back on Monday

Please complete and return the “getting to know your child” questionnaire which will be sent home.


Most Fridays there is a Bake sale at school. Students normally bring N$5 to N$10. If you are sending money in please put it in a small purse or envelope with your child’s name on it.
